Creative Freedom started when owner, Michele Keen, began seeking a greater vision of her own. For nine years she had co-owned another design firm but found its focus, like that of most others in the industry, wasn't fully meeting her needs. She wanted to be out there, impacting the lives of people, using her skills for a greater purpose.

And so was formed Creative Freedom, a company that seeks not only the freedom of creative expression but seeks also to provide freedom through creativity.

Long before Creative Freedom began, Michele lived in the third-world countries of Africa and Asia. The daughter of a Foreign Service officer, it was her desire to one day be able to give back to those less fortunate. Today, we now play a part in this by donating 10% of every job we do to people in need, whether here at home in the United States or abroad in the far reaches of the world.

We realize, too, however, that as helpful as money can be, it's not the total answer. For true freedom to be had, it must come from within the people themselves, by them understanding their own personal worth and rising above their means.

For this reason, Michele travels on a regular basis to Africa, to the northern region of Uganda where the people have endured Africa's longest-running war for over 20 years. There, she works with the people by ministering in churches and communicating with leaders for a better tomorrow.

The ultimate plan for Creative Freedom is to explore creative ways in bringing businesses together. It is our hope to find creative solutions that leverage our skills here in the U.S. with the potentials of those abroad.

By teaming with one another, we hope not only to provide added success to businesses here on our own turf, but to organizations and individuals everywhere. Because of you and the work we do, we're able to impact lives, together.
